Winsmart participated in the European Smart Windows Conference as
part of the
World Sustainable Energy Days in Wells, Austria.
The project contributed with one main session presentation entitled
"VACUUM AND MULTIPLE INSULATING GLASS UNITS: A COMPARISON", given
by Dr. Thomas Kroyer. In addition, Winsmart delivered two workshop
presentations at the event.

Building Green, Copenhagen.
Winsmart was represented at the trade fair Building Green in
Copenhagen as part of the stand of the Danish Technological
Institute.

4th Winsmart Steering Committee Meeting.
The 4th Winsmart Steering Committee Meeting was held at the AGC
R&D center in Gosselier, Belgium. The SC Meeting concluded that
all due project deliverables and milestones in the reporting period
had been met so far.
21-24 October 2014
Glasstec, Düsseldorf.
Winsmart participated in the biannual Glasstec tradefair in
Düsseldorf. On display were posters explaining the projects goals
and objectives as well as the technical developments so far. The
commercial project partners was also given the opportunity to
display their products. The event was successful with many
interested visitors to the Winsmart stand.

Chambery, France.
The action plan for clustering events between the smart window
projects was updated.

LCA Workshop Winsmart participated in a workshop on LCA for the EU
smart window projects organized by the Harwin project.

Poster presentation at the E-MRS 2014 SPRING MEETING, Lille,
France.
Poster title "Nanocomposite W/Ti oxide material with electrochromic
responses. Poster presented by Dr. Mateja Hočevar, University of
Ljubljana, was selected as the best poster in Symposium:
"Chromogenic Materials and Devices".

Clustering event for EU projects, Athens, Greece.
Winsmart participated in a clustering event for EU sponsored
projects. The subject of the joint workshop was "Nanotechnology and
Advanced Materials for Energy Efficiency in Buildings". The
workshop was organized by the nano-E2B-cluster which at the meeting
was renamed to AMANAC - Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology
Cluster.

1st Harwin Workshop. Winsmart participated in a workshop organized
by the Harwin project, a fellow EU smart window project.
